A friend told me that any food photo that was (photographically) worth gasping over most likely portrayed inedible food with glycerine and all kinds of other stuff.

It’s kinda hard for the home cook to try to reproduce work to the standard of a food stylist who’s had a reasonable time, as well as pro chefs and photographers, to set the whole thing up.

Food bloggers generally try to do everything at once for themselves. On occasions, I’ve cooked a meal perfectly only to have to heat it up in the microwave after the photo session. It’s a tough life. LOL! Good fun, though.

I’m also interested in photography. More recently I’ve ventured into the area of food photography, but that’s a whole new ball game. It’s so hard to try to cook and take photos at the same time, especially if there are hungry people wanting to eat the stuff rather than wait for the faffing about with the photos.
