Good riddance to bad rubbish….

Author: Just watching on TV that Michael Jackson is dead. I wouldn’t wish it on him, as I wouldn’t wish it on anyone… However – I’m sure there are many parents (normal ones – not the type who would hope to sue because there child has been abused) who will sleep better knowing he isn’t around any more…
There is not one person I know who were they wrongly accused of being a paedophile who would for one minute buy themselves out of a court case. Most regular people would want their day in court to prove their innocence. I for one have never, and will never, believe this ‘thing’ was innocent of these accusations! The court case made him look no more of an innocent than OJ – and we all know where that ended.
Can’t wait to hear the conspiracy theories…
I for one won’t be shedding any tears!

Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here
This for me was the highlight of Live 8. I thought it was incredible to see them playing together again after so many years. Wish You Were Here was perhaps my favourite of their albums – if you can have such as thing as a favourite album by Floyd, they are all so damned good.

Björk
I never quite ‘got’ Björk in her early days. But over the years have really come to appreciate her work. A lot of my friends still don’t ‘get it’. when you look at the range of what she’s done – she really is something special! I really believe she is an ‘artist’ in the true sense of the word – not just a run of the mill ‘entertainer’ (Think Robbie Williams et al and consider the difference). Apart from that she’s also very strangely attractive!
