This week I had a ‘moment of clarity’ as alcoholics say – strangely enough after a few glasses of wine. After, well, as long as I can remember I think I might have finally hit on an idea that ticks all the boxes for me…

I never really knew what I wanted to do when I grew up – but I think this might just be my ‘big idea’. In many ways I’ve drifted through my business and working life, not that I can complain, it’s been good to me – I’ve never fallen into the wage slave mentality, I’ve done all sorts of things – some exciting, some not, some lucrative, some not, I’ve had a number of experiences not open to many, and I’ve learned a hell of a lot from the variety and my constant need to change direction…

So, I hit on this idea this week that can give me everything I’ve ever wanted from my working life. It combines all the skills I’ve learned and love to use – photography, marketing and Public Relations, business skills and of course the Internet. And, even better, this idea would allow me to do some good in the world!

Don’t ask – I’m not going to say what it is, I haven’t even told Elle. But no doubt it’ll come out somewhere round about thirty minutes after the next time the corkscrew comes out of the kitchen draw.

So, all I need right now is a generous benefactor, or some far sighted corporate sponsor willing to take a ‘punt’ at something original (or maybe a lottery win) to fund me…

Should anyone fitting into the above brackets be reading this, and want to get themselves some major publicity (this is the sort of thing that will get me an invite onto Oprah!) you know where to find me! Though, somehow I expect we’ll be waiting for that lottery win to provide the finance…

Now, where’s my address book gone?
