Some people must just be born to be thieves….

Just sat here pondering an experience ealier in the year….

Should anyone reading this come into contact with a certain Jeff Norton of Kenosha WI. Do not ever contemplate dealing with this man. He is a liar and a thief, he stole money, which in turn cost me time with my children.

Jeff. Should you be reading this. Rot in hell you sad piece of shit! PRAY you never meet me in person….

For anyone looking for him, I know there are others I´ve included his addresses below. Or, if you´ve found him do let me know – others have told me he is still in the Chicago area.

    Hey man,

He did the same with me and the funny thing is, I am still working on cleaning up the shitty framework he did (stole) for us 2 years ago this month. With a lot of help though I am about to launch the site.

Send me an email man I would like to swap stories on this deusche bag.

    Chad Deatherage

So how the heck did you get his website?

  • Alan:

Hi Chad – you can find a bit more on Norton at http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/252/RipOff0252397.htm including the number of a detective to make a complaint to at his local police department. If you do call the police please ask the detective to send me an email so I can add my complaint to his file.

As for the domain, I was, as I do occasionally, having a trawl round for the scum bag and spotted the domain was for sale. What the hell I thought, and bought it.

Have sent you an email if you would like to compare notes! Even better – I’d like an address if you have one…. :)

*This following paragraph is the comment that was removed temporarily following the request from Jeff Norton on 3rd February 2009*

Hey there… I used to be friends with his now exwife, but she’s not much better. They both will be friends with you until they get what they want, was my impression. In her case it was someone to not mooch money from, but to mooch until her self esteem kicked in, then she went to someone else. That 655 address you show was their old apt when they were married, but I think she said they got chased out of there back in 2002 or 2003.

I think it’s funny as hell that you bought the domain out from under him. He thinks he’s a photographer, an IT guy and who knows what. I didn’t know him well enough to agree or disagree, but thank you for a big laugh.

  • Alan:

Glad to give you a laugh! :)

Any current address or information would be most welcomed…

So – he thinks he is a photographer now!

  • Jeff Norton:

    Alan,
I saw your post and I am sorry you feel that way. I understand and I can’t express the regret I have over this matter. I have tried to get your address from go daddy so I can have my attorney send you your money, interest and any cost you may have occurred.
As you know my business failed miserably and during the process of closing it down certain things where neglected (ie your payment/refund).
I accept full responsibly for my actions toward you. I don’t expect you to accept my apology for my actions but please give me the opportunity to pay restitution. I appeal to you for what is right , you can leave this post up about me but I ask you to remove the post about my ex wife, its not fair to her. Please email me to make repayment arrangements. – Jeff Norton

  • Alan:

    Jeff,

As a gesture of good will, given your response, I have hidden (rather than removed) the comments you mentioned (these were the opinion one of my readers rather than myself) pending a resolution to this matter. I thank you for your admission of responsibility – and would be happy to accept an apology should you keep your word about reimbursing me.

The sum in question is documented elsewhere (in case you can’t remember $900). I would be happy to accept the original sum, plus interest as per your offer. Your actions cost me time with my children, and also put my own – relatively new at the time – business at risk. Should you wish to add anything over and above the $900 plus interest to compensate me further for these inconveniences I leave that to your conscience!

    Please check your inbox Jeff…..

Jeff was good with the talk, good with taking $, good with making promises and making excuses, and great with screwing people over. It looks like he’s been honing his skills. The guy’s a thief. I’ve been in contact with 1/2 dozen people who were scammed by him.

Anyone else reading this, don’t believe any of Jeff’s promises. You’ve been warned.

  • Alan:

Should you have found this post because you to have been ripped off by Jeff Norton, do please contact me. I am in the process of making a complaint via a contact in the FBI and the more names we have attached to it the better.

  • David:

Hey – can you email me regarding Jeff Norton? I’ve got a question to ask. There’s another “Jefferey Norton” who was scamming up in NE Wisconsin and some of us are curious if this is the same guy.

  • Alan:

David – If it’s in Wisconsin I think the chances that it is the same Jeff Norton is pretty high. The man is a liar and a thief in my opinon and appears to have no respect for others – this man’s children must be ashamed of him – if they even speak to him….

I haven’t answered privately as I thought – if it’s okay with you – I’d be interested to hear openly what his latest scam is? What is he up to now? I’m sure there are plenty that find this page who would be interested…

    Thanks for getting in touch.

  • David:

Seems that a Jeffery X. Norton has been doing A LOT of crap in the state for a while. I use the ‘X’ for his middle initial for a reason. Why is that interesting?

It’s interesting because as the middle initial changes, so does his location, but the crap is the same.

What was the middle initial of YOUR Jeffery Norton? Mine was an ‘S’.

His wife, Kim is also in the scams, and like Jeff, she uses different middle initials for the different locations of their scams.

He got us in a sales scam, (is he would sell our product, guaranteed commissions) and really took a company down in southern wisconsin for over 100k. We ended up OK since we took the customers direct and recovered our losses with actual sales. Customers would pay him, but he would never pay the company he was representing.

    and put in “Jeff Norton”

  • Alan:

I did see “my” Jeff Norton on there – middle initial – W….

Interesting reading David, thanks for letting everyone who reads this know!

Have you pursued him at all?

I know several others who have contacted Kenosha police and the FBI as many of his scams cross state borders and qualify as interstate fraud. I’m to;d that the more complaints they receive, the more likely they are to take action. Complaints can be made through the website at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

I would encourage anyone who has been scammed by this man to report his crimes in the hope that one day he gets what is coming to him.

  • David:

No, we didn’t pursue him since we ended up making out OK on the whole affair. What has me really interested is the idea that all these Jeff Nortons might actually be the same guy. (unless there’s just an issue with “Jeff Norton” being a common name for a scam artist. LOL)

Do you have a photo of your Jeff?

  • Alan:

Might still be worth registering a complaint David – it all adds to the chances of one day this all coming back on him if it’s all on file with the Police and FBI… I just hate to think that this man is still out there scamming people.

I did find what I thought was a picture of him on MySpace (as part of a band in Kenosha) some time ago. But when I went back again a couple of days later it had gone. Do you have a picture David? I’d be very interested to see if it’s the same guy I found.
